I've lived here almost a year. I haven't had any big problems. The buildings are old, so the insulation isn't great, but they are redoing the outsides (slowly). My door was also replaced and is much nicer now. The few maintenance problems I've had have been corrected right away. The maintenance people are great! Also, when I had some noisy neighbors, it was taken care of with very little trouble on my part. The new office people are very good at their jobs.
I've never not been able to find parking, and the parking lots are lit. It was annoying that there was never any salt or sand put down when we had the ice storm, but not a huge issue.
The main draw to Riverbend for me was the fact that they allow all sizes of dogs, and all breeds except pit bull types (although the pit bull part may have changed since I moved in). The grounds are clean despite this, except that not everyone picks up after their dog in the off-leash dog park area. There is a limit of two pets per apartment and a separate deposit for each.
Overall, it's a pretty good place to live. The price is a bit high for what you get, especially for Norman, but not too bad. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
