Decent

What people have said about this place is generally true.
However, it has been decent.
I would not recommend any female live alone.
I have not felt very safe at all while living here.
Most of that has to do with the people living across from me.
Well, not so much them, but the people they attract to their door.
I smell weed on ocassion and they have extremely shady people knocking on their door at all hours of the day (AND NIGHT)...they never answer and the people outside stand there for 15 minutes knocking.
Very scary for a female living here alone.
I haven't had any problems with my apartment for a long time now, so as far as repairs go, I have no complaint.
When I did have issues when I first moved in they were taken care of relatively quickly.
I can't seem to get it cool enough in here though, the windows have stayed open practically 24/7 to keep a breeze going.
I've given up getting the dishwasher replaced.
Just handwash delicate dishes.
Took a cup out to use and ended up finding half of it in the bottom of the dishwasher.
Noise is an issue.
I try to be polite and go as quietly as I can up the stairs if it's past 11, but the people across from me don't have the same decency and generally jump 2 stairs at a time or just stomp up and down.
Doors slamming downstairs was an issue, but I was fortunate enough to have people living below me I felt comfortable knocking on their doors and asking them to stop and they did.
My main issue here however, is safety.
I don't feel comfortable going to my car if it's after 11.
There are a lot of shady people that live here and wander around the parking lot at night.
Not only that, but I have to time it just right to make sure I don't run into any of my neighbors visitors.
Overall, this really isn't a bad place to live.
Just don't live alone if you're a female, be polite to the management in the staff because they generally react better that way (amazing, huh') I never had a problem with things getting done and I haven't had a problem in quite awhile that needed attention.
The AC might be needing checked soon though...
One good thing is that Spiders are non-existent and I've only seen 3 cockroaches, 2 were dead and 1 was crawling up my wall...That was within the first couple months of moving in.
I haven't seen one since and I've almost been here a year.
Despite my "yes" to live here, I will not be renewing my lease.
As well as not feeling safe living here, I hate the distance it is to campus.
Yeah, it's not "that" bad, but you have to cross the railroad tracks and if you time it just right, you can sit there for 10 minutes sometimes waiting for the train to pass when you are late for class.
I'll update with any new developments but overall this really isn't THAT bad...
if you're a male that has a black belt and a shotgun.
(Just kidding!) I feel relatively safe when I'm inside my apartment with the door locked, but when it comes to my surroundings...Not so much.
