Never again, even if free

The parking lot was awful. My car, my roommates car, and a friends car all got broke into on 3 seperate nights. The management kept promising security cameras and more lighting in the parking lot but it even took them 2 months to get any of the new lights in.

My downstairs neighbors always complained about noise, but we were never doing anything out of the ordinary while they complained. I would have my radio on where I could hear it only in my room, yet the downstairs neighbor would come complain, and I could hear her blasting hers at night while I tried to sleep. And she complained whenever I would walk up or down the stairs, and I was walking normally.

The grass is dead all over with just large spots of red dirt. If it rains, you're entrance is more likely wetlands for a few days.

All cheap materials. My door knob broke on me while I was inside my room, and had to wait an hour before my roommate got home to unscrew it from the outside so I could leave my room. The railing on the stairs fall off the wall for no reason one night. And half the outlets never worked.

The maintence people would hardly ever come to fix anything. And they would complain saying it was our fault, when it fact it wasn't. I stopped ever going to the office to tell them about anything because I knew they wouldn't ever come fix it. I tried 3 seperate times to get the outlets fixed, and nobody ever came.

The manager that was there when we moved in was very nice. However, towards the end of our stint there, both the office girls had left and I didn't care too much for the two new ones. They weren't polite to me at all.

I would not recommand Twin Creek Village even if it was free. These are high rates for sub-par apartments in a bad part of Norman. Like I said, there are many car break-ins here, and I only saw the Boyd Security there twice in 6 months. And I'm a night owl so I was always coming and leaving at night when they were suppose to be there. I never even felt safe fixing my window and replacing my stereo while I lived there because I knew it would taken again.
