I recently signed with University Greens for the Fall 08-09 semester. I had a friend who lived here last year and his place was....decent. He hadn't had any problems that I know of, besides old cabinets, dirty conditions, etc (the norm of aged apartments). However, I've read these terrible reviews on the apartments and I'm kind of scared to live there now' I'm extremely concerned about apartment odors (vomit, urine, dirty pets...dirty pet urine and vomit all together'). I've always had ridiculously terrible luck with apartments so I'm not surprised that this year won't be any different. Ha. I can say, so far, that the staff are absolutely useless college students who only need a part-time job. They're so rude. After reading these bad reviews, I went to them and non-nonchalantly asked to see a vacant apartment just to secretly scope out how bad the conditions are. They actually became very rude and mean and said that there's no need for me to see them, and that all the apartments were in the same exact condition as the model (which I doubted). I told my roommates about all the bad reviews but they convinced me to sign the lease with them anyway (the pushover that I am...). Now I'm already regretting it and kind of bummed because I can just see all the trouble I'm getting myself into. Ugh...someone please get me out of thisssss

You can pay $350 and get out of that lease....just post it on like craigslist and get someone to take over your lease. Do whatever you can to get out of it. Dont go to the commons either by the way pretty much same thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you can try Crimson Park right down the road :-D

im moving in 08-09 as well with 3 of my roommates. I'm not too concerned. From what I read all of these problems were pretty easy to handle. And if maintenance is slow i'll walk down there and take the tools to do it myself. QQ moar imo
