I was attracted to these apartments b/c they were spacious, on the side of town I wanted to live on (I wanted to avoid all the apartments to the south and west of Campus) and the rent was doable. Well, little did I know that the people running these apartments sucks. Everything was fine at first, until their maintence staff started to have to work. First our air filters were never replaced and they were extra dirty and they just needed replacing so my boyfriend went and bought a really good air filter and put it in, then 3 days later the maintence people came and replaced it with a very cheap filter that didn't fit and he/she put it in BACKWARDS. There are little arrows that tell you how to put it in, not hard. Next I was doing laundry and my washer over flowed where the pipe meets the wall. It just coulding take all the water my washer was draining so it backed up, all over my floor. It stunk and it was a mess. and not only did it happen once, it happened 4 times while i was doing laundry. I have to babysit my washer and if i hear it start to over flow i have to lift the top and ease the water down the drain little by little. And last week I wasn't even DOING laundry, my neighbors were and it backed up all over.
Another problem is that they seem to turn the water off with no warning for a few hours at a time. This hasn't happened lately but last spring it happened 3-4 times.
My apartment is nice, and i like the rooms and the location but the people that work here do not know how to handle a problem, nor do they seem to care.

Also, the rent does go up (a lot) if you don't resign you lease. I had a full time student discount and when my lease was up but i couldn't move yet b/c my thesis wasn't finished my rent went up $20 (lost my student discount) and then up $30 to make up for not having a lease. so my rent for a two bedroom went up from 589 to 649. It sucks.
If i could go back, I would not live here.
