I chose these apartments because of their size and location. After living here for about a month (I moved in in August), I was already looking for a new place to live. There are a million reasons why this place is so terrible, but I'll just let you in on a few:
1) The day I moved in (August 13) I had an eviction notice on my door that said I had failed to pay rent. It had my name on it and it said that I had agreed to move in on the 10th. Lie. I had to go around and around with the managment to get this fixed.
2) The day I moved in my AC was busted. It was like 99 degrees outside (literally), and they wouldn't compensate me even though they ackmoqledged that the apartment was too hot to live in. It took almost 2 weeks to get the unit fixed, it broke again, took another 2 weeks to get it fixed again, and they were extremely rude about it.
3) My car died on me, and so I pushed it as far out of the way as I could. As I was waiting by my car for my fiance, I watched people drive behind my car and beside my car (i.e. - it was nowhere near blocking anyone). We went to buy a gas can and some gas (we were gone less than an hour), and by the time we got back my car was towed. The management had no idea about it, but when I called them from the towing company, they suddenly changed their story. They said that lots of people were complaining and that my car was "in the middle of the drive" (like hell). When I got a little mad about the fact that I was now out $175 to get my car out of impound, they proceeded to call me an idiot. They require you to give them your license plate number and proof of insurance, but that is only so this rent-a-cop they hire can walk around the complex and nail people with expired licenses (which mine is not).

This place is terrible, and the management is a bunch of blue collar red neck morons. They have no idea how to run a business nor do they have any concept of proper public relations. All the bad reviews about this complex are totally true (including the one submitted on the 5th). You can find somewhere else to live that is way cheaper, way nicer, and a place where the management has at least a high school diploma.

There is no record in your file about being late, nor did you move in on the 13th-no one did, we keep records:) You left your car and went to class(according to the story your mom told me when she called)according to her you left around 3 pm and didn't get back until around 10pm, meanwhile the car was blocking residents from parking at bldg 1600. Like I told your mother, had you called the office, we would have helped you push it out of the way and even taken you to the gas station, but your cell phone had been cut off so you couldn't call us and God forbid you walk to the office for help. Why do people always like the rules until it's their turn to break them?

I would say that as a resident a lot of this guy's claims are probably bogus or misconstrued. On top of that there is this fact, i moved in here the january following this august that he moved in and when i moved in here i was informed that the complex was under new management and that under the previous management they had had some issues with maintenance. But since my living here i had the same problem, my AC went out during the summer and when i called and asked them to come fix it the came immediately that day within maybe an hour of my calling at the most and fixed it right away. I also had an issue with my bath tub faucet breaking off from the pipes rusting and it jsut being old and they also came and fixed that right away and installed a new faucet and fixed the pipes in the wall too. also, since i have been living here ive never seen any rent-a-cop that patrols the parking lot handing out parking tickets and looking for expired liscense tags, i even had mine expire for a lil while and never got any tickeet or anything like that
