Everyone in the office is totally rude, especially the manager. There's one lady that works almost every day, and I think she HAS to be crazy. The manager told me and my husband that she really needed us to move in a week later than we were supposed to so that they could make sure the apartment was clean. (This was after already waiting for two months.) When we finally got to move in, the manager told us that our lease would be a month longer than normal because we didn't move in at the beginning of the month! So basically, she asked us to move in a week late, then told us that we had to stay an extra month because of it. We also specifiacally asked about having a satellite and she assured us that there would be no problem with that as long as it wasnt mounted to the building. But whenever the satellite man tried to come install, she told him that we would have to give her $150 (non-refundable)plus get insurance on the satellite dish that would cover $100,000. When we got to our apartment, which wasn't the one they showed us, the carpets were terribly dirty, the bathtub was clogged, wires were hanging out of the cable hook-up and absolutely nothing had been cleaned. There were no light bulbs in some of the lights. Also, the carpet was a completely different color than they had told us, and so was the tile in the bathroom. About a week later, things literally started falling apart in our bathroom. The hot water handle had been spackled on, the toilet seat came off and so did both of the soap dishes. One in the shower, and one by the sink. None of these things have been fixed, still.
A few other things to happen: it took a month to get a mailbox key, someone else is always parked in "your" covered parking spot, they called and hassled us at work EVERY DAY to come in and sign the lease whenever we wouldnt even be able to move in for over a month still, and they show you nothing at move-in. We didnt know how to set our alarm, where the mailbox was...absolutely nothing.

For your information, i work here and i'm not rude to anyone, so not everyone in the office is rude, actually, no one is rude but i guess if we dont tell u what u want to hear about something, then automatically we're rude, apparently. We deal with everyone respectfully, even when residents get extremely rude.

I am thinking about moving to Aspen and I just wanted to let you know, anonymous who works in the office, your response is poorly writen with bad syntax and grammer and does NOT encourage me to move in. Why didn't you address the fact that this person's apartment was filthy, that they had so many move-in problems, that repairs didn't get fixed, etc. I would be more that happy to put up with rude office workers if the apartments were amazing. I think you chose to address the least of all of the problems mentioned here.

To the person who works in Aspen Place, starting your post with "For your information" and then saying the people in the office aren't rude really doesnt make you or the company look good. If I didnt already live here I would never move in based on your poorly written post. The assistant manager is very rude there has been more than one occassion where I have seen her raising her voice to other who live in the complex as well as other workers. She has even tried to get loud with me when she was clearly in the wrong. I have had numerous problems with things in my apartment falling apart and so many work orders have been put in but its rare that anything is done. I have talked to other people who have told me not to let anyone into your apartment while you arent there because there has been things missing(mostly jewelry) I am moving out of these apartments very soon and I have had a lot of friends who have asked me about living here and I tell them all to run in the other direction.
