When I moved in to my Aspen Walk apartment about a year ago, the complex was nice, and I enjoyed living here, but now, unfortunately, it seems to be going downhill, and I find myself searching for another apartment complex.

The main thing that stands out at the moment:

The people moving in seem to not be as courteous as I've had more damage done to my car than when I first moved in. It is also not as quiet as it used to be. People oftentimes are outside my apartment yelling into their cell phones for entire conversations before going inside their apartment. It also seems as though the parents don't really seem to care what their children are doing outside. The parking on one side of the complex is really bad, but the other side is pretty good as that is where I have to park since all the spaces around my area are always taken by tenants and their friends. Also, people don't seem to know what the dumpster is for anymore as trash often finds its way on to my patio door -- usually after the strays have ripped the bags open. (Most of the patios are enclosed though.)

However, it's one of the most decent (and probably nicest) apartment complexes considering the area -- and it seems to be well-maintained. The office is friendly and tries to help, but they can only do so much. I would suggest requesting an apartment away from the pool and facing away from the parking lot. Also, try to get one on the SE corner (closer to Sunnylane) if you can. It's quieter there and not so much people-traffic.
