I moved into the Augusta Apts in 2001 and was extremely happy. Not only was I welcomed with open arms, I was treated to the most convenient of ammenities and the most beautiful of landscaping. Then, approximately one year ago, there was a management change and the previous customer-friendly leasing agent was replaced. Since that time, the disregard and distaste for their residents has become palpable. The office staff talks to the residents as if they are annoying small children, rather than working professionals. I was a resident for almost 4 years, always paying my rent on time with no neighbor complaints against me. Recently, I completed graduate school and was offered a job out of state; but the new Augusta staff was unhelpful, unrelenting and money hungry when it came to my move out. Word to the wise...read the fine print!!!! The rent and fees are constantly on the rise, while tenant loyalty, understanding, and overall property appearance is dwindling. I know many long time residents that are now planning or considering moves because of the rude office staff. If management does not clean up their act, they will soon be stuck with the poor tenants they deserve.
