We have lived at The Augusta for over a year. It is a wonderful place and convenient to work, family, shopping, etc. The staff are nice to work with and make a real effort to have community activities. I especially like the monthly newsletter. I do wish, however, that some of our suggestions would be acted upon. The rear parking lot has a dangerously scary curve. Cars are allowed to park in a fire lane (not clearly marked) that completely obstructs your view. Giant SUV's and other vehicles park there and you really take your life into your own hands when you are exiting or entering the lot and taking that curve. If management would consider putting something in that space to dissuade parking''' I know I'd feel safer. The other issue is the dog owners. Some of them are wonderful about picking up after their pets. Others...well let's just say on a real hot day it can get pretty fragrant out there. Management should make an all out effort to inform dog owners that picking up after pets is absolutely mandatory. Such a beautiful surrounding should not be marred by something that could be solved with notices placed on doors or a little blurb printed in the newsletter. All in all, The Augusta is a fine dwelling and we are extremely happy with it and the folks who run it.
