I lived at Augusta Apartments a few years ago and had an absolutely awful experience. After I graduated from medical school, I took a job in South Florida and was happy to be away from the awful staff. When I had initially moved in, I was offered a "no deposit special" which is what originally attracted me to the property. Recently, I tried to purchase a home in South Florida, only to be informed that the Augusta management had turned me over to collections for an unpaid deposit upon moving out. I never received a notice from them, nor was I told that I would still "owe" a deposit at move-out (since I was offered a "no deposit" incentive at move in). Turning me over to collections and attempting to ruin my credit over just a few hundred dollars seems quite vindictive to me. I do not know if the same property management company is running this place as when I moved out in 2004, but be very wary of their tactics.
