This place seems ok at first but there are aspects of it that just shouldn't be acceptable. I lived there for 2 years, the 2nd year the only reason I stayed is because I couldn't find afford to move because I was still a student. HOWEVER the conditions have gone from ok to tolerable to bad to awful. First off they allow huge dogs to live there so everyone in Oklahoma City who has a big dog and can't afford a house with a yard lives there, they do an awful job of making sure people take care of picking up after their dogs so the courtyard and parking areas are filthy. Tenants will lock their barking dogs on their porches so the noise is constant, and not only the noise from the dogs but the noise from the apartments around you! When I was in my kitchen I could hear every single word of the conversations people were having in the apartment next to me. And don't live on the first or second floor or you have to deal with people above you moving around and being loud ALL hours of the night. There have been SO MANY nights that I have been kept from sleeping at night because of my upstairs neighbors that I can't even begin to count. For a while I even had a man living above me that would LITERALLY run laps in his apartment in the evenings. I could hear the trail he made while running.
The neighbors who now live below me have 3 huge dogs and have knocked down the fence on their patio and made a make shift hick backyard of some type. Which management has done nothing about. When it came time for me to move out, after living in my apartment for 2 years and not paying rent late once they wouldn't even try to work with me on my move out date and have not been pleasant at all to deal with. The pool and pool furniture are always in poor condition, and the "gym" is either full of loud children watching television and playing on the machines or the machines full or most are broken. I haven't been in there once when at least 3 of the machines weren't broken. I lived in the very back building and would use the back gate sometimes, and they never could open and shut the gate at a consistent time. Sometimes it would be open at 10pm and sometimes they would close it at 6pm. It's frustrating to have to drive back around to the front to get in because they can't get their act together. Then when you would get in the apartments parking lot there wasn't any parking because the spaces are too small and people there are horrible parkers. There were nights where I would have to park at the front of the complex and walk to the back, which isn't safe anyway because of the area that it is in.
Lastly, I have lived there for 2 years and only when I started the process of moving out did I get to know any of the staff. They make no effort at all to know their tenants and certainly don't appreciate the good ones. I DO NOT recommend living here unless it's the final option.
