I am a current resident of this property, and have had many issues in the three months since moving here. Have received conflicting information from several members of their office staff, and had difficulty in getting maintainance problems resolved. Had to delay moving in because our apartment was not ready as promised, and actually started moving in before finding the issues that caused the delay. There was mold found on the windows in 2 rooms, which I had to clean myself. Have been told by the office staff that they must have forgotten to do the final walkthrough before clearing for move-in, and on another occasion that the reason that some maintainance issues are not taken care of is that they sometimes forget to make work orders. Our air conditioning has been 'repaired' three times in the three months that we have lived here, and is still not functioning properly. During a storm a light pole was knocked down and was left there for over two weeks before clean-up, in an area where children play. There is dog feces in the grass throughout the complex, and there has been an instance where someone (animal or person') urinated in our breezeway, and it took a full day for someone to come and clean it up. Upon touring, and again at signing time, we were told that a) all units would get new air conditioning units in June, and b) new windows would be installed in our unit within a month. Neither of these events have occurred as of yet, and I am now told that, unless they determine that it is absolutely necessary, we will not be getting a new AC unit at all. Dryers are poorly vented, downstairs laundry causes heat upstairs, and the air conditioning ductwork is poorly done and leaky. There is a brown substance running down some walls, have been told by staff that it is 'due to new roofing being done while surface is wet, should resolve itself over time'. Recheck on windows, now stating withing the next few weeks. While the apartments are spacious and reasonably priced, I don't feel that this makes up for the fact that they are constantly in need of repairs, and said repairs are very hard to get. Also, there have been several times when someone from the office was supposed to check on or take care of something and get back to me, and they have not. I have had to call them back each time, sometimes after waiting several days.

The problems with staff attitude and maintenance continue. We received our new windows in October, but are still waiting on one, and continue to have no screens. There have been several times that they have come in on maintenance requests, and half-completed a job because they need to 'order parts', and never come back to complete the repairs. Courtesy patrol seems rather ineffective, as, even after repeated reports, we continue to have noise issues here. I have spoken with several other tenants here, and most agree on this. A tornado came through the complex on Tuesday of this week, and I must say that I am impressed with how quickly they have removed most of the debris and begun repairs to the worst affected areas here, but continue to wish that they treated the repair issues of their other tenants with the same expediency. It's a shame that it takes a tornado to get things moving around here. In short, I still maintain that the price for an apartment this size is good, especially given that it is in district for a really good elementary school, but the prolonged, repeated maintenance issues and the attitude of the staff when confronted with them make this a less-than-great place to live.
