Well I moved to Boulder Ridge in January of 09. Started out okay, not great. I was told to come pick up my keys at 10:30AM. I got there and was greated by Sally very nice, intellegent lady. Everything seemed good, until she didnt have my apt ready, and she didnt have a downstairs apt that I had requested. She told me that the apt would be ready at 2:00pm, but I could look at it if I wanted. So we looked and it was okay not great. I was never happy with how the layout looked. Disappointed with the false advertisement of the fireplace, yeah they have one, but you cant use it. There capped off! Things went down hill fast. I have one small child and another on the way. We could hardly sleep, our neighbors were either getting it on alot, or beatin the crap out of each other. I could hear banging on the walls all night. I call maintenance to come see what the problem was, they showed up but laughed. So shortly after that I called to see what the status was on my downstairs apt. She told me that I didn't "stress" that I needed one. So she would place me on the waiting list right then. A few weeks later I Called to check on it again, and they have no idea when one will be available. My outlets in the entire house short out. My microwave has blown, my george foreman has blown too, I cant even unplug it from the wall! I cant plug up my tv, and dvd etc..cause only one outlet will work! When I call to have them fix it, they say maintenance is at lunch and she'll let him know to come by, and they never show up. It has caused my food in my refrigerator to go bad. They came to replace the fridge about a week in a half ago finally, and that was nice, but they left the damn fridge on my balcony, and it leaks dirty brown water. I cant move it! Im pregnant, and I'm not packing it downstairs! It stinks, the neighbors complain, its so gross. I asked if they could replace my food, or at least take it off my rent, and she said she'll see what she can do. I have went through all the managers and no one can help me. They said that if i move i have to pay $750, and give a 30 day notice. This place sucks, please dont move here, and if you do, look at your apt before you move in. N Check to make sure things work.
