I have lived here for 3 years and it's been a good experience. The only complaints are as follows:

-Distance to mailbox/trash (please note my unit is almost as geographically far from both mail and trash as possible)

-Flyers for early rent payment offers, and other messages. Every month you recieve an average of 3 "pay rent early and get blah blah blah" flyers clipped to your door. The management needs to join the 21st century and start emailing their residents.

-Mullets in neighborhood squealing tires. Ok, Brookwood is in the nicer part of South Oklahoma City, but not far enough away to escape the fast drivin' white trash. Every time there is a spot of water on the street every douchebag with a v8 feels obligated to peel out incessantly. God forbid it rains.

Other than these points, the complex is very nice to live in, and is a reasonable driving distance to OU. Maintainence is superb, and the office staff is chalk full of hot women. For the price, Brookwood is hard to beat.

Just wait until gr8fln8 decides to move out of these apartments. Those hot women won't be so hot. They charged us hundreds of dollars for replacing the carpet because of pet ordor when we never had a pet. After we paid the part of the bill we felt was fair but refused to pay for the carpet, they turned the whole amount (even the part paid) over to collection. We had to go to the management in Tulsa to be treated fairly. We're glad you think maintenance if superb because my brother's apartment has had a toilet that kept overflowing and soaked the carpet before anyone came to fix it. That carpet hasn't been replaced.

He's not lying about the HOT! women in the office. If I had to, I'd live under a bridge with any of them!
