The rent is higher than Northside apts and that's okay when you compare the cost of meeting your car insurance deductable from break ins, over there. (North side is bad for that-believe it or not-this place isn't)

One Police Station is a block away!

It is pretty. Great park with a duck pond, bridges, 5 swimming pools, etc. Everyone, from out of town especially, is impressed. Big Cities pay big money for places like this if they have them.

Some people know the laundry facility is cheap and take up ALL of the machines when they are not tenants, but they are trying to keep the doors locked for that.

The constant "Pay your rent early and get in our drawing" flyers have stopped. However! Don't be late or EVERYONE will know! They WILL post nasty letters if you are late on the outside of your apt. (We know what that looks like too- just hope you aren't working late that day or EVERYONE will see it!)

Yes, they do put attractive people in the main office...all places w/sales have the PP (Pretty People) syndrome though! So, if you are having problems getting something fixed, etc. (Which I personally haven't had the need to call really) I would suggest approaching one while they have a customer looking in the main office. Then wait until someone says the crew is coming. (Always learn your people & timing skills)

They do have a lot of young people there but that's okay. Always good to see nice looking folks outside (and at the pools!) and really, they will respect you if you know to be nice and not assumingly rude, just because you are older or ugly (if that's the case of those writing before).

Overall.....I would never move Northside because I am spoiled to this place, even though it would save me tons of gas, rent and hours of time. (I have visited my Northside friends all too often to know this for a fact!)

I guess if you keep polite and have some common sense in mind, you will enjoy it. We should be like this anyway.

If you break something- FIX IT! You are living in an apartment- NOT the palace where you are king and/or Queen for the rent you pay. You have the oppty to have everything replaced, repaired etc. when you move in. So the falling apart statments don't make a whole lot of sense to me.
