Wonderful place to live!

My husband and I moved in to an apartment there in May 2005. My husband got a job in Dallas, TX, so we had to break our lease and move out in August. However, the few months we stayed there were great! There is plenty of parking, close to your apartment. The maintenance people were friendly and helpful. The apartment was nice and quiet. We felt safe there and we really enjoyed all the amenities Brookwood Village has to offer, especially the nice, clean swimming pools. It's expensive to break your lease there. We payed almost $1,000.00 but the whole process was painless and the staff there was helpful and polite. We got our deposit back very quickly! The only problems we had were with the laundry situation. The laundry room is very reasonably priced, but the dryers are either full or out-of-service. This could be avoided, I suppose, by just going to a laundromat or doing your laundry at someone else's house or something, which is what we usually did. I've heard of other people, having problems with Brookwood Village. In the past, there have been some flooding issues. As for us, we were sad to leave! It's a nice place to live and the rent is great!
