DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOUR KIDS ARE SPECIAL NEEDS OR AT ALL!!!

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2009
We moved into a 3 bedroom, 1 bath apartment which is in the same building as the laundry mat and pool. We loved it here at first but what started as a dream come true became a nightmare of the past three years.
Our daughter has development issues including Sensory Process Disorder. Engine noises hurt her ears which ranges from toys to cars, motorcycle, lawn mowers, etc. We asked the office and the manager to let us know when they would be doing lawn work. The manager suggested that we should leave when they were doing tree work outside our apartment for three days! The manager agreed to let us know when yard would work be done, that has yet to happen. My daughter is let holding her crying in pain. The lawn service here is a joke, they cut grass ever two weeks but outside out place is more dirt then grass but they will run over it three or four times that day!
Most of the maintenance people here are nice and in my experience are doing their best but the complex has only 6 or less men for over 1000 units. They did have a maintenance man here who accused my husband of stealing. Alot of people leave furniture out by the dumpester which free and usually in good shape. My husband found a computer desk next to the dumpester and the DRUNK maintenance man accused my husband of taking a desk that was on his "porch". There is no way that desk would have fit on his "porch" and again he was drunk. He then porceeded to call child welfare on us twice making false accusations. When he left the child welfare calls stops and the man now works at Crest in Moore, Oklahoma.
We had a our car window broken and a XM radio stolen. One of our neighbors had their truck and other cars were scratched up. Cars speed through the parking lot as if its their own personal NASCAR and the manager and office solution was to put up a sign that was stolen. We live near a park and children go back and forth and idiots still drive through. The fact a child hasn't been hit is a miracle. If a child is it I would recommand SUING the apartment complex for all they are worth.
My nephew fell out of a second story balcony due to the bars being two wide by state ordinances.
It beats homelessness but I could find better. Rent tends to go up every year by $20-$40.
