We have lived at Crown Pointe for a year now and definitely made the right choice. Apartmentratings.com was a HUGE help with making our decision, even though there were a few bad ratings. We are so happy to call this home!
Pros:
1) Rarely had problems with parking
2) Nice porch with outside storage
3) Really beautiful buildings and landscaping, if only people would pick up after their dogs
4) Work out room. Facility could be updated, but all I use is the treadmill
5) Pets allowed with fee. My 2 cats were worth the fee and I would want to move into an apartment with CLEAN carpet that had been paid for by that fee.
6) Washer-Dryer Hookups in a fairly roomy bathroom
7) Large closets yay!
8) The price really is right for what you get if you don t think so, you re in for a reality check about apartment living. We are in a 2 bedroom for $680, plus about $20-$25 a month for water and trash.
Cons:
1) OUR upstairs neighbors happened to be extremely inconsiderate. We understand that with apartment living you will hear your neighbors . That is a given. But these people put their television volume up to absurd levels and played 96.9 BOB FM really loud for 12 hour periods, so we called noise complaints on them about 3 times and duct taped some really nasty notes to their door and it finally got better. Just hope you get a considerate neighbor. Note: If you haven t ever noticed how inconsiderate a neighbor can be you re probably the bad neighbor.
2) The garbage disposal is really not very good quality. After it getting clogged up too many times, we ve decided to just not use ours. Again, cheap disposals just come with the territory of living in an apartment.
3) The bedrooms are a bit on the small side. The room fits our queen size bed just fine, but not much else will go in there other than side tables without feeling cramped.
4) There is no overhead lighting except in the kitchen and ONE light in the living room, so be prepared to buy some lamps when you move in.
5) During the summer the A/C unit upstairs was leaking condensation down into our A/C unit. It was dripping for a few weeks but it finally got repaired and we didn t have to pay for it, so no biggie.
6) A few problems with ants and roly poly s during the warm months, since we re on the ground floor. Nothing a little bug spray won t help.
I hope this review helps all you apartment shoppers out there! We really do love the place.

Where in this complex did you live, the front, middle or the back? Seem as if they get alot of complaints on their parking.
