We moved into the deuce 5 months ago on the impression that it was a safe and beautiful place to live. Almost immediately we began to have problems with both staff and facilities. We have had the most atrocious ant problem since about one month after we moved in. They are so bad we can barely keep food in the cabinets. They are in the bathroom sinks, the tubs, the walls, under the carpet, on the beds, in the drawers and just about everywhere you can imagine. Upon us complaining, they sent people to spray three times. Each time a slip of paper was left stating they had sprayed. All three times we were both present in our respective bedrooms and neither saw nor heard them do anything other than walk in and walk back out taking no more than 2 minutes each time. None of these "sprayings" helped the ant problem at all. Additionally, the gates have not worked since we moved in. There is supposed to be a code to walk in from the street which within a week of us moving in has not worked and has not been attended to. The gate to the parking has not worked for over a month and is clearly broken. This is the case with all of the gates in the complex, not just our building in particular. It is aggrivating to pay a thousand dollars to live in a place that even the delivery people know the gates don't work and drunks walk in and out as they please. We recently had people come and bang on our door from around 2 am until 5 am and run up and down our stairs repeatedly yelling out. Calling cops does no good in this area as they say it is to be expected and they can do nothing about it. The mail used to come right at 2 pm and is now inconsistant. We frequently recieve mail that belongs to residents in completely other buildings or apartment complexes. We miss a lot of important letters. If you have a package sent to you, you better know when to expect it because they will not notify you. It is thrown into an open mail room that they allow you to go into and shuffle through by yourself. You do not have to sign for anything and could walk out with anybody else's stuff.

Our apartment leaks in 3 rooms. It has discolored the paint. There are big water bubbles under the paint running down the walls. The paint is cracking because of all the layers the water is coming through. The doors no longer close to some of the rooms including the bathrooms as a result of the water leaks. There is a leash law in OKC and it is not enforced here. People let their dogs and cats run loose and our dog has gotten in fights with other dogs as a result with the owners of the unleashed dogs looking petrified when our dog gets mad at them. People are also supposed to pick up their pet droppings. This is also not enforced and the land around the complex is a variable land mine field of pet poo. The grass is over watered and swampy at most times in front of the grill and smells like a septic tank.

To top it all off, the staff is unbearable. They lose checks. The call and harass you about false accusations. They threaten to evict you. When they are shown to be in the wrong, they become very defensive and childlike. They openly tried to con us out of money by saying our rent was more than what it was. They claim that checks bounce that didn't. They are very rude. They act like a snobby bunch of high school kids. We are not the only tennants that have had issues with them lately. Nearly every tennant we have talked to here has had a problem with the same things we have. The construction all around us now is constant from 7am to 9pm. It is extremely noisy. For someone that works evenings and nights, this is our time to sleep and quite inconvienent. This was not going on when we moved in. We are extremely disappointed with the whole experience. Please do not waste your time or money here!!!

I totally agree! I called the Police several times when I lived there about the Deep Deuce Jazz Club and they just told me that it would "settle" down in a few hours! The gates never worked, the code never seemed to work on the gate to the street and there were drunks ALWAYS running up and down the stairs late at night! And the most disturbing thing, they didn't even live there! And on the packages, OMGosh! My boyfriend ordered a very expensive top to his vehichle and we kept calling and calling the office to see if it was there, and they kept telling us NO...so we finally called the Company we ordered it from and we should have gotten it the Month prior! We went down to the "Mail Room" and there it was, the box was all torn and tattered! Not to mention the brand new top to his Jeep was torn! It was a $2000 top that we had ordered! The management, that we had called and called to see if it had came in, said they would not replace it or anything! How can you not notice a box that big? I so would not recomend living here! Luckily, he got stationed elsewhere and we are living out of state now....I loved Oklahoma, but I would never live in Deep Deuce again!
