4 years From: Xegunda Date posted: 4/30/2007 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2007   Pluses - Great old building, well built for storm safety. Easy going managment. Excellent building maintence staff. No bugs. No odors. Fire safe. Building fully sprinkled. Very secure with inside parking. You can drive right up to you door with moving or groceries. No trouble with neighbors. Easy access to highways. Streets safe to walk or run at night. Bus stop within 1 block. Downtown library and museums within bicycle distance (10 blocks). Street quiet in the evenings. Well lit at night. Minuses - Third floor roof has leaked into apartments on occasion. No pool. No outside area for grill. Entry and exit auto doors very noisy for tenants directly over them. Could be fixed. Major railroad traffic less than one block away. LOUD train horns at all hours including early weekend mornings. Food shopping not within walking distance.
