First of all, this is the only Apt complex I've ever known to charge for water. There is no way to fairly calculate water usage per apartment, as the water lines run per building. It was explained to me that, water usage per building is divided by apt and occupancy and a bill is issued thereof. I know from personal experience if you write a check in full for your lease and don't pay the water bill (which is issued by Grouse run NOT THE CITY) they will deduct the bill and put an eviction notice (34$ for my water bill) on your door. The manager was completely rude and uncaring. None of my maintenence issues were ever addressed. I lived there for months without a working dishwasher. There was a pervert that hung out in the parking lot and checked doors to see if they were locked or not on womens apartments. This happened to me and some of my neighbors. The pool water always looked dirty and the grounds were not well maintained. The window seals and baseboards were full of filth collected over the years and the carpet smelled like pet urine. Parking was not enforced nor noise restrictions. The walls are paper thin. I would reccommend any place over this one.
