i have been living in Grouse Run for 2 months. my first week of living there someone broke in (they threw a rock through the window) it took them 9 days to replace the window. then our rent checks got stolen out of the drop box.. no lie, someone stuck something down in the box and got them out!!! last weekend when i came home my neighbors car had been broken into and all they took was his backpack!! and then i came home the other day and my upstairs neighbor told me their balcony had caught on fire, i went outside to look at mine and sure enough it had burned and the remains of their balocony was laying in my patio. i was at home when the construction crew came to work on the apartments and everytime they would hammer on the outside of the building pieces of drywall would fall into the floor of my living room (this shouldnt happen on a well constructed building). they also found termites in the process of tearing down and reconstructing the balcony. when i went to talk to the apartment manager about these problems she pretty much blew it off like it wasnt a big deal. she said she was sorry and she knows its been a bad experience but that there wasnt a whole lot she could do about it. as far as the loud music and things of that nature go thats going to happen at any apartment where there are younger people no matter where you are at. and the courtesy officer as of current is wonderful. that is probablly the only good thing i can say about these apartments he has been more than willing to help with any problems i have had
