Parking could be better. The spaces are narrow. The structure is not safe because it seems like you're driving through a maze just to get to your apartment. The assigned parking is no where near your front door. Therefore, it's embarrassing to have company over.

Based on the noise level, I know that I'm surrounded by mature adults. There's no drama, fighting, and loud music. However, the walls seem extremely thin to the point that I could clearly hear the conversations of those passing by my apartment.

I did have an issue with loose pit-bull dogs. I am horrified to dogs. Being that I stay a good distance away from the parking lot, I was terrified to walk to my car.
Several people reported the dogs. Initially, management did little about the issue. One night, my roommate and I heard the dogs chase a resident upstairs to her apartment. I was so afraid, I actually walked to my car with a knife for my own safety. Eventually, management took care of the problem.

Maintenance is superb. They always responded in a timely manner. The crew never left a mess. Work was quick which increased the quality of our stay. We greatly appreciated it.

Staff seems really nice. We haven't had any issues with them.

Overall, Grouse Run is a good place to live. Rates are reasonable. The 2 bedroom, 1 bath layout is nice. I love the window in the kitchen. The size of the smaller bedroom sucks. The pool area seems private, although not big enough. The fitness center is a big plus because it has a fair amount of equipment and seems comfortable. It was a great experience and I would recommend Grouse Run to any first-time apartment seekers.
