Every advertisement you see about this complex makes it look like a family-friendly place to live with freshly cut green grass and warm smiling faces on all of your neighbors. I'd recommend getting a good look for yourself first.



I haven?t had any major problems with maintenance on my unit. The staff tended to my problems without much delay, but I always went up to the front office and complained face-to-face. Additionally, I made sure they filled out a work order.



The people that live here are typically not the kind of people you?d want to live around. The complex is in a rather run-down area, so the community is a little shady. I've seen the cops arrest my neighbor across the street, for what I understand was drug dealing. For months, two transients constantly bugged me for change or for a ride to the south end of town. Those two eventually went on to break into my upstairs neighbor?s apartment.



If you choose sign a lease, be aware of your surroundings. Make sure your apartment and your car are protected. Make sure you have renter's insurance. Wear earmuffs if you want to guarantee yourself of a good night?s sleep. There are plenty of inconsiderate people who drive around here at all odd hours of the night with their stereos on full blast.



Personally, I?d rather not be so constantly concerned about my safety, but I?ll deal with it until my lease is up.
