the management needs to stop giving this apartment complex credit in these reviews...if anyone can honestly say that they have had a good experience living here, i'd believe u if u were a homeless person who spent a night in the manager's office...i'm not saying that the people living there are any less of a person than i am, i'm just asking u not to lie to urselves and say that u would live there if ur current situation were different and if u for whatever reason were not being forced to live there...

okay. So I have lived here about 3 months. Yes sometimes the maintenance doesn't always get your request done at that time but it is usually only if they have to order a part. Nothing has happened to me so far. I have heard of peoples cars getting broken into maybe once or their apartment but I have heard of the same thing in Edmond, the safe town. I really honestly think that it is people that you know or are affiliated with. It will find you where ever you go. Why would you blame the people that work here. People that live here must qualify to even move in. Do you say anything to the people and try to stand up for your home? Try to make a difference? Or do you just sit there and complain about it? This is a pretty quiet place. The office crew is very friendly, and the front gates I have never seen them NOT work. I've never seen people lined up to get in because it wasn't working. How many places can you say that about? This is a convenient place to live, its close to everything and super easy to get around. I would reccomment living here. It is cheaper but its not that bad as people are making it out to be. If you want perfection BUY A HOUSE!~

Seriously, I lived there for longer than 3 months and a few years ago so things may have improved since then. I never argued about the convenience or location. You can think it's the people one is affliated with but I don't think the majority of people surround themselves or their families around bad company; we certainly did not. Get one thing straight before you decide to preach and praise, which knocking what I said; I am telling you my experience, along with the opinions of other former tenants who had bad experiences living at Heritage Park. Agreed that there's no guarantee about the safety of an area but repeated reports of break ins and seeing the cops there frequently would give anyone cause for concern. Yes everyone wants perfection but not all can afford a house. Why should anyone have to spend extra time and money trying to make a difference if they're already paying for the kind of service that they have been promised by the staff. I don't think I was expecting too much; safety and comfort. Even after having to constantly remind the staff of things that they need to pay attention to, nothing was done. If i'm paying for a service and have expectiations that the staff have assured me that I would get and they are not being met, why should I have to go the extra mile and try make a difference when it's not my responsibility because I have a landlord who I know has a duty to fulfill; very diffrent from owning your own house in a neighborhood don't you think? How would u suggest one makes a difference instead of complaining? picket outside the office, start a petition, neighborhood watch? I have a right to complain and ecpect something to be done because it is not my property or duty to pick up where the staff are lacking. Keeping the place safe and in working order isn't my respnsibility and if i got paid to do so, I would gladly make an effort. The truth is that most working people have other things going on in their life and don't need to come home to stand guard and fix stuff because I have paid to and expect to come home without the stress that Heritage Park brought with it. I mean come on; I paid to live in a gated community that leaves the gates open and claims it has security. Enjoy your stay there.
