Lived here for 2 1/2 yrs until I could afford to buy a house. The staff is nice, but that only gets you so far. Two years after living here I get an "oh by the way" letter saying that we did not pay all of our pet deposit from WHEN WE MOVED IN over two years ago and now they want us to pay up. It took three or four trips to the office to rectify the situation, each visit our question about the issue was "passed on" to the manager and each time we still got a not on our door saying to pay up.

They still made us pay.

But among the many many issues we had with the apartment falling apart and consistent bug problems, we did not feel safe at all. I witnessed drugs and violence including our neighbor threatening her husband with a knife, a guy intentionally ram his car into another tenant and a couple months ago shots were fired in the apartment underneath us, while I was home! After that issue I called demanding they let us out of our contract and the manager said she knew nothing about any of the incidents that happened even though there were over eight police cars, a csi van and my building was cautioned taped off. Every single neighbor in our building, during the almost three years we were there was evicted or just up and left because they couldn't afford rent.

I'm very happy to be out of there and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It is well worth the extra money to find a safer area with higher quality apartments.
