WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

I lived at Lakeside Village for a little over a year and had too many issues to even count. Some of the major ones were the fact that to start my experience off with, I was shown an apartment, set up a move in date and 2 days prior to that move I was informed that they couldn't pass inspection and were going to have to move me to another apartment. I had decided on a downstairs, back half apartment with a beautiful view of the lake. Was moved into a downstairs, front half with a fantastic view of the parking lot and plenty of car noise to join.

I immediately had issues with the kitchen sink, the air conditioning, the shower, the washer. The sink backed up into my kitchen floor I called to have it fixed, had to clean it up myself and someone came to look at it 2 days later only to tell me I probably shouldn't put anything down it and left. The air conditioning didn't work and when/if it did it dripped water into my floor. Took a week for someone to come look at it and they put a new thermostat on it...really! It was leaking!! Still continued to leak, a weak later they came and "fixed" it ...lasted for about 4 days. The shower somehow was leaking water all over the floor and to fix it they installed handicap bumpers. Looked fantastic, let me tell you! The best part was the washer though. They didn't have it installed when I moved in and after 2 days of constantly calling the office they brought me one and hooked it up. Well they somehow connected the drainage to go into my tub. After several complaints about how gross it was and that I wanted it fixed it never was.

Two weeks after moving in, I went out of town for the weekend. I received a phone call at 3 a.m. one of the nights from the on-site security, Tim, who is amazing and the only decent part to this experience, to inform me that maintenance had entered my apartment earlier the day before and left my patio doors wide open all night and all day. I was in an apartment in the very back of the complex, single white female in a nice area that has it's problems at times.

The breezeway lights stopped working and were out for 3 months. I work an evening job and have to come home rather late. I made a formal complaint, ignored. Written complaint, ignored. Called and asked for the apartment mangers managers number, was hung up on. Threated to call the news and mysteriously they started working that day!

Called one day to ask if there was anyone in the apartment above me because my apartment was filling up with smoke and smelled like fire, was yelled at and hung up on yet again. Five minutes later the fire department was there. My apartment suffered some fire damage and slight water damage. I had to stay with a friend, never offered a place to stay by management. In the middle of winter they turned off all of the water and 2 days later my entire apartment flooded due to a pipe busting! They moved me into a "new" apartment that was no where near as new as the one I was living in. It was unfinished and looked rough. I was told that I would be informed when my old apartment was repaired so I could move back in. Two months later I noticed someone moving in and asked management about it and she said she thought I had forgotten about it. I was promised full reimbursement for all of my transfer fees but never received them.

Then to top everything off, after my move into the "new" apartment I stopped getting my mail. I asked if I needed a new mailbox and was told no. I talked to Carrie about it several times and out of the clear blue they changed my mailbox lock without informing me. That was my last straw. I packed everything up and moved out a month before my lease was up. Wrong thing to do, I know. But I simply couldn't take it anymore.

The manager is rude, uncaring, and VERY unfit for the job. The maintenance was slow, uncaring, and scared the hell out of me half the time! The outside was very attractive and the original apartment I looked at was to die for. If it wasn't for the management and maintenance I would have lived there for many many years. Still makes me sad!

that's probably why Carrie is no longer there-check the County Jail-that's probably where she is.
