I began my residency at Legacy Arts a few months after they opened. There have been a few ups and downs with construction, but as it comes to an end I have really enjoyed my new apartment. The apartments have nice interiors, and a pool is hard to come by in the downtown area. The neighbors are very friendly, and coming from out of town I have gotten to know many of them. The alleged "resident lawsuit" is bogus. The girls in the office are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. All of the details are explained when you come to lease. My guests park right outside my courtyard, and have never had trouble finding parking. If you want downtown living I wouldn't recommend any other apartments.

The girls in the office are nice, though the manager is not and hides in her office. Outside the Perimeter, it's not safe.

It looks like the poster evoked a response from the manager who obviously lied in order to post on this site by certifying that she was not a staff member. LJ2293 - now which staff member is this? Somebody figure it out and post a name. Better yet, why doesn't the manager who posted it just state her name instead of continuing her passive aggressive tirage? Lord I hate passive aggressive people!

PLACE IS SURROUNDED BY HOMELESS DRUG ADDICTS WHO WALK BY / GUNSHOTS So which apartment staff member lied once again to potential or current tenants to make the claim that you aren't an office staffer? I hope you like being personally liable for stating you aren't an employee of the Legacy when you are. Keep piling on proof of the dishonesty and evidence thereof that you have displayed in your dealings with prospective tenants you are trying to trick into moving in. I bet you money you just posted this from the office. Why don't you gossiping girls get together and try to be of service to tenants and to come up with a compromise that is not fundamentally unfair and illegal as to your tenants. That???s right, because you are not capable of compromise, and you don???t care if residents here live like trapped rats in a hole they pay out the tail-end for just to sleep in. You don???t want us to have anyone over AS WAS JUST STATED IN THE OFFICE STAFFER'S POST. You are all in favor of complete isolation, but most people are not and have every right not to be forced into isolation. Obviously it is the office staffers who go to extremes when they don't get their way. It is the office staffers who have no ability to reach a compromise. The tenants deserve a livable solution and to be treated like adults with rights. The Legacy staff and living flat out sucks. I thought it would be great, but boy was I wrong. If the poster is happy with living in what is basically a jail, then the poster is an apartment staffer. I'm a law abiding citizen. The Oklahoma City Jail is a street over - a 5 minute walk away if that. I did not break any laws that would justify me being on lock-down like a jailbird. Visitors are restricted to them because their freedoms have been revoked. What right does this apartment complex have to rent us apartments to call home, and then to covertly go about restricting our access to having visitors? What guy here wants his girlfriend or mother on the street outside this place after dark with the homeless and crackheads who are rampant in this area?!! I don't want my girlfriend raped or worse!! Further, a series of gunshots went off somewhere very close to this apartment complex during this last month...April of 2008. I don't know if this was drug-related or what. There are too many homeless who are drug addicts in this area to count, so quite possible. I do know gunshots when I hear them. Thanks to the "rules" here that completely disregard tenant safety, I myself was outside the complex walking my girlfriend to her vehicle. If the office staff wants to continue to play games with the safety of those I care about, then game on. I don't get walked on in silence and will report everything to those who are still able to avoid this awful management with zero regard for tenant's or visitor's safety.

Why is so unbelievable that people would have a difference of opinion? I can believe that someone would not have problems and would not have any real issues.
