This is what the staff wants our visitors to brave on the streets outside in this area to come visit us, and by the obvious post from an office staffer, our mothers and girlfriends are viewed as "randoms" who don't have a right to see us. Obviously they just admitted that the parking "rules" they made up have an alterior motive...that of keeping all who live here from having visitors. The amount of crime in this area is shocking even to me.

And I know people that live in Deep Deuce who are desperately trying to sublet because of the crime, break-ins in the apartment complex, and drunks peeing on their patios.

GREAT, CRAZY OFFICE STAFF: RESPONSE TO A POST THEY DELETED, WHICH ASKED 'WHY I CHOOSE TO LIVE DOWNTOWN' and CRAZILY STATED WE SHOULD ALL ABANDON THE DOWNTOWN AREA QUICK (WITH EXCLAMATION POINTS)

Office posters from above - you are two crazy and an dramatic freaks. Bet I can narrow down which one you are by the drama way you put things. You all have accomplished making this place I pay for not my home but a place of imprisonment.

People aren't around the businesses at night like visitors are, and downtown is safer during the day. Even the biggest of all imbeciles knows that, but perhaps you are among the biggest there are.

Only one other apartment complex is within the radius. The run down place right by here, and right by one of the streets where the whole 15 visitor spaces are at. You abandon downtown you office freaks....the rest of us would just like to live smart and safe.

We'd all love for you nutz office staffers to leave so reasonable non-crazed capable-of-rational-thought management could take your place. I was blatently lied to by the office staff. They told me there was no crime in this area. I fell for that lie hook line and sinker.

The answer to the office staffers first stupid question about why I moved downtown...I was fraudulently induced into a lease contract here with lies lies and more lies. There isn't nearly as much crime around Deep Duce. I should have moved there.

Too late for that now. All I can do is to live smart and safe, and ask for the apartment rules not to prevent safety measures that could be taken on behalf of myself, my visitors, and my property.

RESPONSE TO OFFICE STAFF POSTER ARGUING THAT THE LEGACY IS BETTER THAN DEEP DUCE:

The crime is even worse over here in this area. I've seen tenants pee in the hallways and get loud and drunk late at night here. Nothing new, that's no big deal in my opinion. A drunk resident isn't likely to grab or attempt to attack your girlfriend, so small potatoes. There are always drunks and roudy binge-drinkers and late night partiers no matter where you live. Unavoidable and irrelevant.

Is the writer/staff member claiming that no crime or apartment break-ins have occurred on this property? Complaints filed from this complex have, do, and will continue to roll into the prosecutor's office. It's a high crime area, which you guys know full well. Lets get real now.

I hate to break it to you (not that I'm breaking any news to you since we all know you know the tenants are miserable here as management's unlivable rules have intended they be), but this place is hardly the great place to live you paint it to be.

It could be a half decent place to live if management was the slightest bit rational AND something was done about making parking (and therefore coming and going from the complex) safer and accessible for tenant's visitors and their vehicles. I'm sorry if the manager/previous poster has no friends or family to visit her here, but anyone who has friends and/or family here is very unhappy living in lock-down where us having visitors at all is a risk to them and their property.

At Deep Duce, I had the luxury of having pizza delivered to my door and didn't have to spend 20 minutes in the cold waiting outside the compound with drug addicts and other unsavory sorts walking by just to get a pizza. Those residents (and all others in OKC) have the freedom not to be trapped like caged rats such that waiting for food or girlfriends to arrive is an ordeal.

Deep Duce isn't close to the Homeless Shelter or the Oklahoma City Jail like the Legacy has turned out to be. I never saw high-on-drugs riff-raff or homeless people walking around outside there, and don't know of any of the tons of residents I do know from there who were fearful for visitors as they came and went. Deep Duce has its flaws, but its flaws aren't extreme safety issues. Its pretty peaceful and much safer on that side of the city actually.

These people have too much time and are probably just bitchy people that complain about everything
