Legacy Crossing

I currently live at Legacy Crossing in South OKC. The location stinks, but it's not too far to get to places. Inside, the apartment is beautiful, and it feels very much like a home. The tall ceilings and crown molding are a nice touch. Also, the new appliances and updated fixtures are nice. On the down side, the apartment owns all of the communication services (ie. Cable, Phone, and Internet). You cannot use anyone else, so it is a monopoly. The whole system is set up like a business, and it is overpriced. For example, DSL, which is $26.95 through SBC is $39.99 here, and not near as fast. I asked specifically before I moved in if I could use my existing services, and I was assured that I could. Do not let this fool you because it is not possible to get around their company. Also, the deposits here are outrageous. They want a deposit for everything. Also, I was not informed about a $20.00 pet rent per month until I signed my lease. I was only told about a deposit. The maintainance staff is TERRIBLE. The head guy is a jerk and thinks he's special. They never get things done on a timely manner, in fact, it took a week just to get touch-up paint. I would not recommend it here... too many problems to deal with, and it's a little shady...
