I have lived here for 5 years and will be moving within the next month. I chose to move because I was informed that with my lease expiration that my rent would go up $35.00 plus another $20.00 in six months. My rent is already too high. One of the reasons I moved here was for the security gates. However, half the time they are left open. Also, upon giving my 30 day notice I was given a "move out cleaning list". It was unbelieviable. Now, I keep a very clean home but half the stuff on this list had not been done when I moved in, such as cleaning the mini blinds and the windows. Mine were filthy when I moved in. I feel like they are going to cheat me out of my deposit. Also, you have to have their cable, phone and high speed internet service, which is just ridiculous.
