I moved to the city from Norman and I didn't know the area very well. I really liked the office staff however, there is a particular maintenance man there that cussed me out one time in front of a guest. I have a feeling it was because he thought I wasn't picking up after my pet. (wrong person dude!) He lives in the complex btw... I liked having my own washer and dryer and fenced in patio. You can hear your neighbors very well, a little too well in the bathrooms. I could hear my upstairs neighbor's radio and I could hear the guy behind me use the toilet. Twice a year ants would invade the front door, bathroom and patio. That happens in a lot of apts though. In the winter, they did seem drafty, probably because of the fireplaces and many windows. One incident that bothered me was a car was broken into and the door on the car remained open for a week before anyone bothered to shut the door. I let maintenance know about it but I don't know if anyone did anything. The free cable was great and maintenance was quick and office staff will sign for your packages if needed. I think that they are great for students but as with any apartment complexes, you just have to be alert.
