Got expensive very quickly

I lived in Lincoln Greens for 2 1/2 years in the late 1990's. The apartment was nice and I was right above one of the swimming pools, for the most part I liked where I lived. However, it got very expensive.
Every time my lease was up, they raised my rent. When I left I was paying almost $550.00 per month for a small one bedroom apt. (I had the smallest unit they offered). In fact I ended up starting the process of going Bankrupt while living here.
When I moved, I moved to Highland Glen right across the street and saved $150.00 per month, and had almost as nice an apartment. Although I did not have a built in Ice maker or cable, it certainly was not worth another $150.00 per month. And everything else was wonderful.
