not safe at all

When I lived in this apartment complex, it was not safe at all. I lived at one of the complex when I first moved there. I being a single woman (who came home very late at night because I worked nights) was put into an apartment that had no lighting, was placed inbetween two huge trees, and no where near the street. One night someone did try to break into my apartment. Some young kid....never seen him before...thank god for big dogs.....I ended up moving to the other side of the complex for many of reasons, 1 I knew someone who lived over there, 2 my apartment could be seen from the parking lot, 3 the person I knew said they never saw cops on that end of the complex, where i had seen/heard cops EVERY night, I even heard one cop tell a lady he has warrants so we are going to arrest him...hello back-ground check'!'!'!'! Not to many kids, alot of young punky looking kids live hear (or they did). You have to yell at them to get maintnence done. This particular complex was on the news 2 nights in a row, one for someone running into a ladys house with a big gun and orange masks on, and next night an arson fire. I ended up breaking my lease. The "security guard" they had was an older man (prob in his early 70's). The only thing he could do would be call 911 if something went wrong..... Yeah I broke my lease
