my friend and her mom lived in a two bedroom apartment for a year befor i moved in with them to a three bedroom next door. they never had any serious problems with their apartment. But even before we moved in we had problems. It seems like every month we have atleast one problem. The a/c was blowing hot air. the maintance came and 'fixed' it, but it wasnt. we went to the apartment to see if there was any change, but there wasnt so we had to call again. then the water from the shower was leaking from a pipe into a top shelf in the kitchen. Then the plug on the shower stopped working so we had to tie a string on it hold it down. Then the refridgerator stopped working and everything in it got spoiled.
Maintenance seemed to respond fairly quickly to all these requests. but then after that, it took multiple calls and trips to the office to get anything else done. The sink was draining really slow, it took them three weeks to fix it. They claimed it wasnt leaking, but why did i have to have a bucket underneath the sink to catch water draining from it' Then my roof started leaking in my bedroom. Multiple calls to the office but nobody ever answered. Left a message, no return call. Finally four days later, we got ahold of somebody and they said they would call somebody to fix it when the weather was drier. still no one has came. They finally came by the other day to fix the bathtub plug.
The laundry room seems to be getting worse. Many of the machines dont work. somebody told me they got their clothes stolen. everything else here is fairly good. the security guard is nice. The size of the apartments are good and the grounds look nice.
