My husband, 3 week old daughter and I have lived here for 4 months and are constantly trying to find a way to get out of our lease so we can move. This place is awful. Where do I begin' 2 tenants upstairs are crack heads and there are constantly people coming and going. They are always extremely loud in the hallway and coming down the stairs and have no respect for the other tenants in the building. They are loud and either drunk or high most of the time and carrying around bottles of liquor or beer in the morning!! One guy was trying to parallel park out front of our apartment and hit my husband's car 3 times. There are stray cats EVERYWHERE. They live in the halls of the complex and underneath the building. The smell comes up in to our kitchen so every time I go in the kitchen to cook dinner I smell cats. Our dishwasher hasn't worked for 2 months and no one has even tried to come out and fix it. We have had a problem with our air conditioner twice and thankfully it has been fixed both times even though we had to wait about a week each time. It still does not cool off either of the bedrooms and we have to run a powerful fan in the bedrooms to try to cool them off. The windows are great, but cause the electric bill to be way too high. The stove is only about a foot wide and the only big burner on it doesn't stay on. The refrigerator makes an awful buzzing sound when it gets too cold and we have to turn it off and let it thaw out when this happens. My husband uses my hair dryer to thaw it out so our food doesn't go bad waiting for it to thaw on it's own. The list goes on and on and on. Please do not move here. Spend an extra hundred dollars and move somewhere decent.

What did Rochelle say? Have you given her everything in writing? I have lived here five years and yes, my dishwasher broke once (they fixed it), and yes my air conditioner is not as powerful. But you are paying dirt cheap rent, What do you expect?
