If you don't have a washer/dryer, or they don't have a unit available...

with a w/d hookup, DO NOT MOVE HERE. I have lived here for 2.5 years, and have not really had a problem until the last few months with people removing my laundry to put thiers in. I am considerate, and set my cell phone to go off at least two minutes before they are due to be finished. Today, for at least the third time, my laundry was out of the machines, laying on the nasty table they keep in there to fold your clean clothes on. This time, I caught her in the act. I have never cussed a a person out in person, face to face, in my life (except for maybe a boyfriend, but certainly never a total stranger), but this stupid ------ got an earful. I just happened to have put my laundry in immediately after someone took theirs out, and she said mine had been in there a long time. It is not worth the frustration. I am moving from this complex as soon as I can afford to, which is unfortunately not until after I get my tax return for 2008.

But I moved in here thinking it won't be such a big deal to use a laundry center. I was dead ass wrong. The facilities are dirty, inadequate, and broken much of the time. The residents are inconsiderate. No one has the right to touch someone elses laundry. I will never use this laundry again. I will spend 3.25 per load to go to Swiss at 36th and May.

This complex has signs up everywhere offering $100 for referrals. I would not recommend anyone move here. The lower level apartments, many of them have broken windows with cardboard, black plastic bags, or wood over them. How long can it take to replace a pane of glass. We live near a drainage ditch that smells fetid most of the summer. The pool is always closed. Last year they offered me a "bonus" for re-signing my lease for a year, which I had already planned to do. The choices were a carpet cleaning, just a spit job, they wouldn't move furniture but it would at least be cleaner than it is; new mini blinds; or $25.00 off. I chose the carpet cleaning. Never got it. Instead, I spent $145.00 to have it cleaned myself last month.

The fitness center they brag about is within the office and is only accessible during office hours. How convenient is that'
