Seems like a safe area. When you first pull in, you see high fences and "security gate" that you must have a code for. The gate is purely for show, as there are absolutely no fences around the perimeter of the complex. My car was broken into (glass shattered) 3 days after I moved in. About a month later, it happened again. My roommate came home late at night to see a hooded man wearing all black walking up to the door of our apartment (needless to say, my roommate left and called 911). I have heard of many other residents' apartments being broken into and robbed, and it seems like every night a car alarm goes off. It is definately a very bad area for thefts and break-ins, and the staff here is quick to remind tenants that they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for any crime or loss of property. These apartments are not worth the money. If you have renter's insurance and a good car alarm, by all means, come live here.
