I do not recommend living at Quail Lakes Apts. First, my actual apartment was nothing like the model apartment shown to me. The apartment I ended up with was not what management called an ??upgraded?? model (those are extra). The balcony is completely dilapidated and scary to walk onto. I was told this would be fixed within the first month of living here, well it??s been over 9 months and it??s still not fixed. Secondly, the utilities are outrageous! My 1 bedroom apartment cost as much to heat and air condition as a 3 bedroom house. Example: My June electric bill for approximately 730sq. ft. is $140.00. I keep my apartment at 82 during the day and about 75 in the evening. I highly recommend looking around for a newer complex before settling for Quail Lakes. Quail Lake is older and not very well taken care of.

Just ask and the manager will be happy to help, I am sure if you asked for weather stripping it would be no problem. Weather stripping does not cost very much, under $20. The manager does not know if you do not tell them. I am a resident and have dealt with many nice people here. Just try asking next time before getting so mad. As for the "MODEL APT" that is to entice you to the community, just like MODEL HOMES are when buying. Maybe before signing your lease you should have looked at your apartment?
