We moved out of our apartment in December, after living there for 2 years. This is my 2nd or 3rd posting on this apartment, but I must say that I was sad to leave the place where my son took his first steps. Management was wonderful once the "bad seed" had been weened out. The property Manager, Mrs Love is WONDERFUL. Not just because she did my walk-thru and agreed to refund us our deposit, but most importantly, because she was still apologetic over the whole mess with our carpet that were is such sorry state when we moved in! We ended up having to steam clean the carpet ourselves, but to no avail, so we had to buy rugs for just about EVERY square inch of the apartment, since I couldn't let my son crawl on that carpet. The complex was lovely when we moved in, now it's in less better shape, but I hope that with the construction of the new building next door, Quail Lakes will pick up some of its luster, especially since it is so conveniently located. To the actual management team, keep up the good work. and thanks to the maintenance crew!

The office staff is nice, they bend over backwards to make sure everything is taken care of. My question to you is are you as nasty to the office staff as you are here in your writing? My advice is you get farther with being nice and understanding than you do with being bitter and snippy. If you don't like it here move they have a waiting list to move in so they won't miss you.

I have lived in this apartment complex for a year now and I will 100% back up critic06's comment. My apartment that I had reserved over a month in advanced was given to another renter. I signed a 12month lease and they messed up the paper work AGAIN and said i had a 7month lease. This should have been an easy fix but the manager would never return my calls or faxs. It took 3 faxed copies, i don't know how many phone calls, and me coming and dropping off a copy of my lease twice before I ever got a response. After that was cleared up we have had nothing but problems with the maintance. my garbage disposal has broke 4 times and I've came home to a flooded kitchen, my toilet has been fixed 3 times, and I had to wait over a week for them to fix my air conditioning. the dumpster is always overflowing, and so is the trashcan filled with dog poop. I have not seen any scorpians, but i have seen 2 snakes by the pond. I do enjoy the pond and the inside pool is great, if it wasn't for the staff this place wouldn't be half as bad

This site is for people to give THEIR opinion of THEIR experience. I think CAmomOK missed the boat. Critic06 said the staff bent over backwards, but she/he didn't like the condition of their apartment. Umm, that is THEIR experience. I live here and will give MY experience. By the way the only reason why there is a waiting list is because it is the cheapest apartment in the Edmond School District where you can have a large dog. Sooner or later that won't matter, ignored maintenace issues and refusal on owners part to update a 25yr old complex will cause that list to disappear and once it does the "Owners" will decide to take care of the property that they wouldn't dare live in themselves! Just drive thru, especially the back of the property, rocks/bricks missing from the exterior, rotting wood on trim and patios, more dirt than grass around units, signs of sewer problems around every corner. Anyway, I will give MY opinion another day, I have to finish looking for another apartment to give my hard earned money and not a black whole.
