Stay far away from here! Place is falling apart!

When I moved here some years ago, the paint was decent and the buildings were well kept up. Now it's looking like a slum with boards lose, pipes exposed, nails exposed and paint peeling - many areas are basically unpainted wood now, so much paint is gone. It's an embarrassment to bring anyone over. Some reviews mentioned flooding pipes and scorpions. I've had both of those too. Nobody should have scorpions in an apartment time and time again. I have had mice too - probably due to the structure decay. My ex-neighbor (smart person moved a few months ago and I'm fixing to move in a couple months too) said the complex kept 2/3 of his deposit for carpet replacement - even though the management admitted the carpet damage was not his fault (his water heater broke twice and flooded his apartment both times). That is not fair but he's not fighting it. He is just glad to be out of that dump and I will be glad too. He also ended up with black mold growing due to the water damage. The front gate is useless so it's really not a gated community like advertised. More and more inoperable cars so parking is getting more difficult. It's too bad because the location is good for shopping and dining (traffic is horrendous though). But there are many other apartment complexes in this general area that are better kept up so go there, not here. It's not safe nor healthy here.
