Lord help me, I finally found an apartment with management who are good. Spoke with a young girl who lives here while I was looking around and was steered in the right direction by someone who lives here! That's the true test you know. Most renters have had bad experiences with horrible apartment management, but this one is not going to be a repeat of my past bad experiences.

I called and made sure to get rather heated sounding when I noticed a repair that was needed because in the past with other apartments, you basically had to rant and rave to get them to take care of anything - complaint or maintenance request (you guys have all lived in one of these places I'm sure)! The staffer was calm and asked me several questions (showing she was concerned and actually gave a sh_t), no attitude with me at all (despite mine for which I apologize in retrospect), and they assured me that it would get handled. Sure enough, everything was handled that day and not just a cheap fix, done right.

If you can call and have them make sure that you know you have nothing to worry about as far as the manner in which they deal with tenants, then you know you've found a good place to live. And it's sure nice to know that renter's maintenance and complaints are taken seriously and actually heard and handled! I've lived with horrid management, and am finally out of the woods now that I'm here! To the little girl who took a few minutes to talk to me while I was looking around, you told me the truth about other apartments in the area and why this one was the better choice. (One of the apartments you mentioned I had lived in and knew how bad they are to renters, so you piqued my interest with your assessments.)
