I'd rather move in with my mother-in-law From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/22/2006 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   While living at Quail Ridge I had a lot of problems. I gave birth to my first child in the middle of November. By the time I came home from the hospital our heater had gone out. We called maintenace to have them fix the proble but they never showed up. Our baby had to sleep in bed with us just to stay warm. It got so cold that night there was ice on our windows. The next day they came out and gave us space heaters. I can't remember what their excuse was for not fixing our heater that day but it didn't get fixed until the day after. A few months down the road our washer and dryer wasn't working. I called multiple times to Maintenance and to the Leasing office about this. It wasn't until 3 months later when it was fixed. Every time I called to the Leasing office they were very rude to me and didn't have a clue to what was going on. By the time that we were ready to move out I had put in our 30 day notice but it was my fault when I talked to the only person that was working there that day. I kept asking her over and over again if this was considered as a 30 day notice and she told me yes every time. I should've gotten a clue when the ditsy blonde was too busy reading her Vogue magazine to actually pay attention to the conversation that we were having. In the end we owed them money but I guess you just can't fix stupid. They can't even get my name right or credit me for all the checks that I've sent to them. I hate talking to the leasing office people...they're rude, stuck up, inconsiderate and they talk to you like you're stupid. I DO NOT RECOMMEND QUAIL RIDGE!!! You would be better off living with your mother-in-law.
