Previously left a comment saying that if you're a student low on cash, it is the best complex for the area. And it may still be. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't spend the extra cash on a nicer complex if you have it. Like a previous comment said, we too witnessed the woman screaming in the parking lot for half an hour. While it may sound terrible that we did not go out to help her, I want to make clear that this kind of stuff happens too often to take much notice. Every night you can hear people yelling at about 2 or 3 am. We've heard gunshots about 4 or 5 different times in the year that we have lived here.

Never had run-ins with maintenance, though we never call them. We fix it ourselves, its less of a hassle. Water and internet have been shut off with no notice. Had to have Cox come out just to turn the service back on, luckily I didn't get billed for it. Maybe this kind of crap happens with most apartments. Ours happened to be pretty clean, just a few aesthetic problems. TOTAL mistake to sign a year lease, and got NO sign on perks, even though we were transferring from a smaller apartment.

I trust most of the people that live in my building, they are older folks or have children. I can hear everything that goes on in their apartments, however. If they use the bathroom sink, I know. If they use their washer or dryer, I know. I can hear conversations, sometimes. So I know they can hear me, and that is a little weird to think about, especially when what I'm talking about, (or what we're doing) is private.

Just good enough for a short transitional stay, 6 months. You can get out of the lease with a double rent payment.
