I have lived here for about 6 months and I still have a long 6 months to go. This isn't the worst place I've lived in, but it's certainly not the best either and I wouldn't really recommend it.

After I moved in, I quickly discovered the construction of these apartments is incredibly shabby. You can hear everything your neighbors do, and that is not an exaggeration. I was able to ignore that until someone moved into the apartment above me. The noise from people walking above is SO LOUD in the downstairs apartments...even a toddler walking across the floor sounds like an elephant in the downstairs apartments. The floor/ceiling creaks and pops with every movement and the ceiling fans shake violently. I have had visitors ask me, "Is it always this loud'" YES! If I could do it all over again, I would not move into these apartments for that reason alone...it's that bad.

The staff pays only lip service to any resident concerns, they just tell you what you want to hear so you'll shut up for a while and hopefully give up. Security does not answer the phone or respond to pages. They supposedly don't let people with criminal backgrounds live here...if you look at who's around, you won't believe that for a minute. One positive that I will mention is that the staff makes a strong effort to organize a lot of get-togethers for the residents, which is nice for those who want to get to know their neighbors. As far as maintenence goes, I have not had to call them for anything thus far, so I can't comment on them.

The laundry facility is cheap and has washers and dryers that usually work, but there are not enough washers and dryers for this large apartment complex. The grounds are generally well-kept, well-landscaped, and the area seems fairly safe...the Featherstone side anyway. I usually don't have any problems getting a parking space in front of my apartment.

My main two complaints about this apartment complex is the noise stemming from poor construction and the lack of real caring by any of the staff regarding resident concerns. The other problems are small and tolerable. These apartments are tolerable if you can't afford much, they're nicer and appear safer than other apartment complexes in the area. I wouldn't recommend signing a 12-month lease, I wouldn't recommend living in a first-floor apartment, and if you get an upstairs apartment, please PLEASE be considerate of your neighbor below. I live upstairs and I hear my downstairs neighbors so is basically a lose-lose situation here.

I live upstairs as well and hear all of my neighbors. However i can never ever find a parking space late at night when i come home from work around 9:30, and my water has been shut off 2 different times now for several hours at a time with no notice from maintenance.
