The Most Honest Opinion

My comments will be the most cut and dry ones out off all on this post. Raindance when i first moved there was a true blessing. The price to live there and the location it provided I beleive is one of the best in the city. Where problems generally took place was in the front office. Now, i was there for two separate managers and the new one that is there as of 2005 May is horrible and most of her staff except the one guy over there talk down to tennants.
They act like they are doing you a favor when you have request that they legally should get on top of. I agree that they are sarcastic, unprofessional, and are only nice when it comes to signing leases and collecting rent. And these comments are coming from a guy that paid rent on time all but twice in two years. Oh yeah, if water pressure goes out or power shuts off, don't bother management, they will give you attitude.
While living there i have had my car and home broken into there due to lack of security. I only lived right behind the leasing office and had the night lights ever worked there, someone could have saw something or served as a hinderence to cowards. I reported the home being broken into to the cops and management, and management just dismissed me with an 'oh well'. As mentioned two months later my car was broken into along with several other cars within a three week span, that time i didn't even bother management with it and I knew i was not going to renew my lease.
Maintainence suprisingly was not bad. I would suggest brining problems directly to them as opposed to having to deal with the main office. Depending on what the problem is with the apartment and how back logged they are, they usually respond in decent time.
The neighborhood has had a shift in change as well, i am no racist so i will not comment on any particular group because every group has some jerks that make it bad for the hole, but as mentioned earlier, some real life onsight security would help turn the tides against the ever rising crime problem at Raindance that the management will lie about and say there isn't a problem.
I can not recommend this apartment complex mainly because management does not have a grip on it's property and misdirects anger and frustration on it's loyal tennants while they sit back and collect checks every two weeks. Raindance has so much potential to be a really great place but always will and has fell short on true hospitality. It is worth paying a little more in a apartment complex where there are true efforts to listen to tennants and protect them.
