This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. I was fooled by the nice view and proximety to downtown. However, the problems in this place are too many, its like living in hell...
First, the smell: not only bad smell in the hallways, but it also gets into your apartment through the venting system, day or night. Second, tempreture in your apartment is preset by the management, heating mode or cooleing mode, and if you get a cold night in the middle of the summer forget about turing the heater on, cause you cant...Same in the winter, so hot like a sauna and when you complain the management tell you to open the windows, and believe me this does not work...So if you love to eat choclate in the winter, you cant unless you like to eat it melted or freg cold!! Third, washers dryers are so old, dysfunctional so you have to go through multiple cycles of washing and drying and spend hours going back and forth...Fourth, mice in the hallways that get to your apartment from underneath the door, so make sure to close that space..Fifth, noise: sirens, train any time during the day or night. Sixth, beware, there are trouble makers among the residents, we had police arresting someone lately...
I am so disappointed as you can tell, but I should say that I love the view which is the only good thing in this place...Oh did I mention that they keep raising the rent on you ....Anyway I am so glad I finally moved out of that place.

I live here and the washers and dryers are fine. I've never seen a single mouse. No, you can't control whether the apartment is on heat or air, but you can control your thermostat. Opening a couple windows does help. Yes, you'll hear trains and sirens, but you're living in a fairly big city. Just part of city life. Finally, maybe you live on a rowdy floor, but my floor is quiet and my neighbors all seem pretty friendly. Are you living in the same building?
