Summit Ridge

Okay place to live..... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/21/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   I found Summit Ridge to be a suitable place to live. I never had any trouble with my neighbors and the office staff was friendly. The only major problem I had was with my washer and dryer which I think were made in 1972 and definitely needed to be put to rest. The dryer had rust build up in it and I didn't know that until it ruined a load of whites. Also, the washer was snagging my clothes. I reported this problem numerous times and maintenance was only out once to check it out. I talked to the maintenance guy personally and he said he would tell the management that he recommended both machines be replaced. Whether he actually did this, I don't know, but nobody every came back to either repair or replace the machines. Another complaint, if you don't shampoo your carpet when you move it, they will charge you $70 for it. In another complex I've lived in (that had much nicer carpet) it was only $30. In summary, it's an affordable place to live and I never feared for my safety.
