i have recently just moved in to the sunnyview apts. i do have to say after i signed my lease did i see the harsh reviews made by prior tennants. the new management is awesome. she has stuck to her guns on every issue, there are new security officers there 24hrs a day who seem to care about your well being. i have had only two issues there and they were both fixed immediately. it is quiet there i have heard no gun shots. kids are playing in the parking lots having fun. this place seems to be very family oriented. give them a call prices are very reasonable. and like i said this is a semi quiet neiborhood. only real noise i hear is from the loud stereos you hear on the main roads. in which no one has control over. I hope you come back on here to check if you're getting a notification to new response to your review.
When did you move in? When was there a management change? I was a bit worried after finding reviews around here after getting all set up. I'll be moving in a few days.
The only thing that I don't appreciate is being told that this one place is Ready and after paying deposit and everything, then being told it was already Rented. I'm worried about how the place will be that I'll get. The carpet better be all new. lol

I am a former tenant I moved out in Oct. 05,(read blog 7/28/06, moving out was a nightmare). As God as my witness, I am speaking the honest truth. Still to this day I have yet to get my credit cleared for false charges. The one thing I don't mess around with is where I have to live. Don't get me wrong, I had no personal safety issues but the maintenance sucked taking forever to fix something but my real troubles with the apts did not come until I moved out. I done everything correctly,30 day notice, cleaned the apt, turned keys in in a timely manner. When it was time for me to receive the return of my deposit that's when the trouble began. I can honestly say that at the time I posted the review, I was living in a gorgous 3 bed 1 1/2 bath house in Del City. I have since moved to TX but that nightmare is still hunting me and just like the past management can not fond my file. I have just recently visited OKC in Sept and I sure would like to know what apts re you living in because the Sunnyview Apts I saw looked abandoned? So, to sum this up, your move in, your lease term may be all smooth sailing, nut the storm is going to sink your ship like the Titanic.

I have been a resident of these apartments for 5 yrs
the new management sucks, they can't tell you who owns the
apartments if you have a complaint, and I have plenty of them.

well my daughter rents there now and from the things i have been hearing from her, this apartment seem to be like a slum lord type of apartments they take forever to fix issues you have and are concerned more for who you have coming to your apartment, like a nightmare to me. They keep saying they have to do a pressure test on her apartment before she can get the heat on, i find this strange. I feel her choice to move into these apartments was a bad decision.
